Application of the "VHO-Osthold-Spange® perfect"

 The VHO system consists of the two pre-formed mini levers. a and b and a loop (part c). Both elements are manufactured of high quality steel wire.

The first lever is fitted to the non or lesser injured nail side, fixated and cut off. The second lever is fitted and fixated. Thanks to the "handle" in the centre of the brace, the VHO-Therapist can work sensitively which saves patients a lot of pain.

There after the loop is fitted and twisted by turning the winding tool, which connects the 3 parts of the VHO brace safely. The resulting force lifts the nail edges out of the inflamed area, which reduces the pressure and the pain.

All protruding pieces of wire are cut down and covered with artificial nail mass (for protection of socks, etc.).
